To illustrate this, the logo needed to communicate a simplified version of what the technology does. The infinity symbol is a quick way to tell the consumer about the two opposing forces coming together to create a continuous loop of energy. The logo is also built off clean, geometric shapes, which gives it a playfulness, only offset slightly by some of the sharp edges. After being delayed a year due to the pandemic, there was an opportunity to bring some uplift to the Olympics. The combination of bold color and kinetic graphic treatments creates movement and energy across the product line. The sockliner includes a handwritten “21,” which acknowledges the changes made to the 2020 Olympics. The medial swoosh commemorates the 50th anniversary of the swoosh design by intertwining the original swoosh outline with the current version.
